With so many prepositions in the German language, learners are always looking for ways to figure out which ones go with which case. Today I present to you all of the songs I know about prepositions in German.
Accusative Prepositions
I don't actually have a real tune for this song. I just made something up. I would encourage you to do the same. Find a tune you find catchy and put it together with the accusative prepositions. You don't have to create a symphony. You just need to get the words into your head.
Dative Prepositions
This song is sung to the tune of "An der schönen blauen Donau" (On the Beautiful Blue Danube).
Two-Way Prepositions
Since these prepositions can use either the accusative or dative case, I have two songs for this one. If you want to sing the prepositions in alphabetical order, you need the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". If you want to make the motions a bit more natural and flow better, you should opt for the tune of "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain".
