After trying and trying, I am yet again unable to upload a video for Friday (this time November 10). I have struggled to keep my schedule since the birth of my son. I appreciate your patience during this transitional period for me, but I feel I need to make changes to how my Patreon page is run to better fit the frequency in which I am able to upload. For this reason, I will be refunding the money for this month from my Patreon supporters. Since I changed to "charge up front", I cannot change my original Patreon page to a "per creation" page. Therefore I signed up for another account and made a new page, which can be charged per creation.
I will only charge for the A1/A2 and B1/B2 series videos. If I have a sponsor for a video, you pay nothing. If I don't post a video, you pay nothing. If you just want the PDF of the script in German and English and an MP3, you will pay $1 per video. If you want the worksheet and answer key, you will pay $2 per video. If you would like to join me for a monthly Skype chat about German you will pay $5 per video. Patrons at this level will choose the topic for the month. Of course, you can always set a cap on the amount you pay each month, so you never have to pay more than you want.
I understand that there are those of you who would prefer that I just leave my Patreon page as a "per month" page, however, I cannot in good conscience continue to charge my supporters at the beginning of a month without knowing if I will actually be able to provide the things I promised. I am sorry this change has to be made, but I think it is for the best for everyone.
My old page will be left up until December 1st. After that, I will remove all posts, delete that page and close the account that is associated with it.
