Ordinal Numbers, Dates, & Holidays

Today's A1/A2 video is about ordinal numbers. The easiest way to teach this is by showing a variety of dates throughout the year and talking about holidays that occur on those dates. That is exactly what I did in this video. I start out with a brief introduction to the topic of ordinal numbers and how they are formed. I then give at least one example for every number up to thirty-one. This not only ensures that you get an example sentence for each of the dates available in a month with thirty-one days, but it also allows me to include at least one example from each month of the year. With this video, you can learn the names for a variety of holidays in German while you learn how to form ordinal numbers. Below the video, you will find a list of the dates and holidays used in the video in the order that they occur throughout the year. In the video, they are listed by the day of the month in ascending order.

If you want to download the script as a side-by-side file with German and English next to each other or get an MP3 download of this, you can get that by supporting my work on Patreon. By supporting my work, you also get access to the worksheets I create for each video.
