The results are in. My YouTube channel has ranked #10 on the Top 25 Language Learning YouTube Channels according to Babla and Lexiophiles. In the overall category, Top 100 Language Lovers, I ranked 68th.
The competition for this was incredibly steep. There were over 1000 nominations this year, so I consider myself lucky to have even placed at all, let alone placed so high. There were several other German YouTubers on the list and you should definitely check them out.
German with Jenny placed 3rd in the YouTube list and 11th overall. She also placed 21st place overall for her website.
Easy Languages placed 5th in the YouTube list and 19th overall. They also have a German only channel now, which is also great.
Of course, this list wouldn't be complete without Deutsch für Euch. She placed 8th on the YouTube list and 55th overall.
Smarter German came in 9th on the YouTube list and 60th overall for their channel, but 43 overall for their website, 78th overall for their Twitter account, and 81st for their Facebook page.
Deutsch Global was 15th on the YouTube list, but didn't place overall.
Get Germanized came in 19th on the YouTube list this year.
Learn German with GermanPod101.com earned 24th place on the YouTube list.
Of course, this competition isn't just about YouTube. There are also Twitter accounts, Facebook pages, and blogs. The Facebook page for Learn German Easily ranked 5th overall and their Twitter account, which goes by the name "German should be fun" came in 8th place overall.
