This week's video is the first of several examples I plan to upload illustrating each tense, mood, and voice for a variety of verbs. This video is about the verb "hören", because it is a regular verb in every tense, mood, and voice. It doesn't take any special rules in any instance and it can be used easily in the passive voice. If you want to see the video, you can see it below. If you would rather see the slides separated by mood and voice, you can just keep scrolling.
Here are all of the indicative active slides.
The following slides represent all of the indicative passive slides.
This is the only version there is for the imperative (command form).
Here are the slides for the subjunctive 1 active voice.
These are the subjunctive I passive slides.
These are the slides for the subjunctive 2 with the active voice.
Here are the slides for the subjunctive 2 forms in the passive voice.
What's next?
Next week I will show an example of an irregular verb that doesn't fit so neatly into the rulebook like "hören" does. Hopefully, through these illustrations, you can find a better understanding of the German tenses, moods, and voices.
